1. Conan the Barbarian, I'm a fantasy nerd And the music... makes me almost believe there's a god and divine inspiration sometimes.
2. Memento, was simply impossible to stop watching it. Scenario and spins are awesome.
3. C'est arrivé près de chez vous (Dogs bite dogs), made as a black and white documentary about a Belgian serial killer (but it's a fiction with actors), fantastic gore humor and maybe the funniest movie I've ever seen.

Syrianna - I was perplexed and left very very disgusted with some US policies in the Middle East. It's an eye opener to how some powerful people are rendered powerless in their own country in today's world!
Shaun of the Dead - this is a cult classic, couldn't recommend anything better. I loved it!
Evil Dead - The first one is rather sick... I remember I was bloody fricked out to my socks. Watched it in my early teens.

You stole my #2! I swear I saw this thread and thought to come back with momento. It was the only one I was sure of. That movie rocks. Great plot, and about half way through you start to wonder if the writers were super cheezy or had great senses of humor. Total mind fuck.
