How will it all shape out? Who wins the conferences and who wins the Wild Cards?
AL:
Boston, Detroit, AL Angels, NY Yankees
NL:
NY Mets, Chicago Cubs, SD Padres, Arizona Dimondbacks
World Series between Boston and San Diego.

Actually I was thinking that the Yankees are actually going to get the satisfaction of knocking Boston out of the playoffs yet again this year.

Re: MLB Playoffs
That's madness. Youre aware that NY is eight games out, traveling from a spanking in Detroit, and facing the top of the Sox rotation for the next three games, are you not? The Yankees are fighting for their playoff lives for the next three days against a hot team with a rested bullpen.

It's possible. When the Yankees are scoring 10 runs a game they are impossible to beat. But, when they are giving up 15 runs a game, its really easy to get a W.
Boston and San Diego have the best pitching rotations and the deepest too. Defense wins championships in baseball too.
