Did Larry Craig CHOOSE To Be Gay?
How about Ted Haggard? What about Mark Foley?
This is always the big debate with the right asserting that being gay is simply a choice and the left (and pretty much ALL gays) saying that they were born that way.
These guys seem perfect examples to use in discussing the issue. They were so compelled by their attraction to men that they risked it all, career, family life, reputation, everything to get them some steaming hot guy on guy action.
That does not sound like someone that just made a choice to me.
While we are at it, did you make a conscious decision to be attracted to whoever you are attracted to?

There are no takers for two reasons, I used the same argument as you a while back and everyone who believed fag is a choice ran for the hills, and the other is we talk about this one all the damn time.

Of course he didn't choose to be gay. I'm sure you are aware of the mental anguish most boys/men go through when they finally come to the realization that they are gay. Many comtemplate suicide. I know of no one who woke up, realized they were gay and said, "yippee, this is the happiest day of my life - from now on, everything will be coming up roses."

Some people are gluttons for punishment, they subconciously desire to be disapproved of. They are drawn to what they feel is a taboo, and they want to get caught, it's a high and has nothing to do with sexuality. Larry Craig hates himself.
