Craig fights for gay rights!
Okay, he's still closeted, but look at his story. He claims that the actions he took in the bathroom are ambiguous. The fact is, legally he is correct. What police count on in such sting operations is that a closeted gay man will panic and plead it down. This is what usually happen when such tactics are used against closeted members of the gay community.
By refusing the plea deal, craig takes the smarter course. Since such sting operations usually do not stand a full court scrutiny, getting a lawyer is the smarter course. Most prosecutors won't try such a case, since most juries won't convict on such ambiguous evidence.
Since Craig is admitting to perjury in order to reopen his case, I have to think that this tortured gay republican - eeven though he is not yet willing to acknowlege his sexuality - is fighting for the rights of his brothers in the gay community.
What a guy! And they say that the repubs aren' a big tent party!

Let me start off by saying that in 2000 I said, 'Vote for me. I'm an agent of change.' In 2004, I said, 'I'm not interested in change --I want to continue as president.' Every candidate has got to say 'change.' That's what the American people expect." --George W. Bush, Washington, D.C., March 5, 2008

Re: Craig fights for gay rights!
It took Nixon to go to china - maybe a republican leader, a Mitt Romney man, is the one who will open the door into the ugly world of prejudice and stings against innocent horny gay men.
Oh, and your little video is quite a rorschach - is it so tiny you have to compensate?

You have no idea who Common Sense Craig is, do you? Forget it, it's over your head, past the state line and working it's way out of the country.
