I think many people would consider themselves impoverished in America.
You put 10 hovels together in a row and everyone is fine with their lives.
But you put a palace next to those hovels, and suddenly everyone is up in arms "Oh society isn't treating us fairly!"

There is no true poverty in the US, anyone who has been to a 3rd world country and seen first hand how people live can tell you that. Even the poorest person in the US has it very well compared to the rest of the world.

Poverty in America is living in a shack or a trailer home but inside there is a big screen TV a *satellite dish on top and a monster truck parked outside. You only eat at Mcdonalds or have a pizza delivered so you get fat and then claim the government owes you an electric mini cart to drive you around the grocery store because your knees hurt you carrying around the extra 100 LBS from the fast food consumption.
