Given that, as far as I can tell, no country has ever really implemented communism per se (nor is it really feasible) -- just a Red-colored dictatorship -- and that those have more or less ground to a halt, yeah, I don't think I can buy into people remembering Lenin's revolution for much besides the resulting deaths and the Cold War that followed.

That you are not answering my question. You seem from your comments to be a supporter of Communism, since you seem to revere Lenin. This is your opportunity to inform us of India. I was hoping for some enlightenment from you about how things are in India today. It's a country of which I know very little post Raj.

This is more likely not a youngster but rather someone who grew up as a Soviet. those raised in the Soviet system do not even realize that the USA and Britain etc. had launched an invasion of Africa and Italy and France and that they were poised to invade Berlin at the same time the Red Army was poised. The USSR taught an egocentic form of History. there are millions and millions of Russian speaking people that do not know about the US assistance when the Nazis were pounding away at Leningrad. They have been taught that the Mother country defeated the Nazis single handedly.

They accuse us of brainwashing. Well our education system taught us ALL of history. We were taught exactly what the Soviets did. What they accomplished in the war and all. Yes someone here is brainwashed all right.
