Seems to me there were a few revolutions before the Russian one- The American Revolution and the French Revolution come to mind.
Capitalism isn't perfect. No system is. But Lenin's communism didn't even last 80 years. So much for Khrushchev and his "your children will live under communism".

Yeah, I see to remember Stalin sold out to Hitler with a non-aggression pact. But after Hitler broke that and invaded, and considering Russians were considered sub-human by the Germans, one had little recourse but to fight back. It certainly wasn't for "Mother Russia".
