Remember, this was all more than 15 years ago. People change. I have personally met the Governator, and he is all about the people. The proof is in the pudding - as govenor, he has brought every issue to the voting public and let them decide. As far as I am aware, he is the first govenor to do that in over a century in California. Th Senate is mad at him for it, because the people's vote overruled them a couple of times.

I don't live in Cali, but it's great to see a "regular" person (or as close as you could get) in an influential position. He's done a phenominal job as well from everything that I know.

He has indeed. The deficit there that took 10 years to accumulate before he entered office has been cut in half already.

IlikeGW, is that why the dems hate him so much? Remember, he cut a lot of taxes. The dems are still trying to RAISE taxes.

Arnie turned out to be better than a lot of people thought he would be. Everyone was a little scared for Cali four nia (say it like Ahnie) when he was elected. I'm glad he turned out to be a good republican rather than a democrat who tried to be a good republican and failed.

I should have said former democrat who played dress up in republican clothes and found that they fit much better and decided not to take them off.

I was reading his dad was a Nazi. Not sure how that programs the guy's mentality.

hopefully not at all. But... who knows. I don't trust politicians period.

His father prolly was a Nazi, after all he comes from Austria...

But that's kind of pointless to bring up =/ I like Arnold, a politician for the people.
