Default News Media Supporting The Revolution

A Movement So Crazy That It May Just Work

Phoenix
Recently I have heard a lot about a radical-leftist, online movement that is rapidly growing in popularity. I have never researched in depth, but when it was being mentioned on mainstream media television networks I decided to investigate. I entered the world of the radical mind with my perceived notions of reading conspiracy and anarchy ideology. However, once I got familiar with the motives and inspiration behind the movement I actual got impressed. I learned that it was a political diverse collection of individuals that were simply taking a stand against the governments reduction of their freedom. Though much political ideology was shared by the consensus I learned that many of the people were on the opposite side of the spectrum on political issues. Despite political disparities almost all of them were supporting R. Ron Paul as their political candidate of choice.
The movement is most often refereed to as The Truth Movement or The Revolution. It was interesting to learn that this revolution did not really have a common agenda on political issues. This revolution did not have any structure or shared ambitions yet still they were united behind a cause. The cause did not start behind political motivation, rather their political interests were only spawned because of the inevitability of people’s collective minds evolving. I had to interview many people and research all history to find out exactly what this revolution was really about.
I learned that this is a revolution to save the personal freedoms of Americans. This is a movement about making sure the people are given all the stories and facts, not just the ones mainstream media broadcast. They want to awaken people out of the apathy formed from a routine existence and get them involved. They want people to question the government and revolt when it is necessary. They are against of allowing fear, such as from terrorism, to be used for the legislation to limit our individual freedoms. UC Berkeley did an empirical study that learned most of the websites associated with this movement were created after the Patriot Act was passed. I found out that these people were not united behind shared political interest, but instead behind conscious resistance.
Understanding why this group was united behind Republican Ron Paul despite being politically diverse was also interesting. Hollander/Cohen Marking researched people’s political beliefs by creating a survey to find out your candidate of choice by correlating your opinions on issues. They found that most of the people who claimed they supported Ron Paul were not often linked to him by a shared political ideology. So why is Ron Paul their guy? Basically they just trust him. They see Ron Paul as someone who will not just be a puppet for Washington. I think many are convinced that Dr. Paul will listen to their government conspiracies of corruption. His support is so passionate and universal online that you would never know he is an underdog candidate in the polls.
Ending my investigation on The Revolution/Truth Movement I came away impressed. They were not the radical, conspiracy militia they are portrayed as by mainstream media, but instead they are just people like anyone else who are not content to accept all government decisions. This movement is a necessity in order to protect the rights and freedoms of all Americans. So next time you see one of these "radical leftist" you may want to thank him for fighting for your rights instead of criticizing their politics.

What support, what cause?

"Cowardice asks the question, 'Is it safe?' Expediency asks the question, 'Is it
politic?' Vanity asks the question, 'Is it popular?' But, conscience asks the question, 'Is it right?'
And there comes a time when one must take a position that is neither safe, nor politic, nor popular, but one must take it because one's conscience tells one that it is right." - Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

"unbiased truth in media", or "honesty in reporting facts".

So he spams blocks of text calling for some kind of vague revolution,
and elaborates about specifics as little as possible.

I guess hes running for President.
