She got Spitzer to drop the plan and she's against the policy.

She said the plan was a "good idea" then later said she would not support the plan as president.

Guess it's a good thing that she realizes that as president she would have no authority in a matter that is supposed to be left up to the states. A little out of character for her but we can be thankful for small wonders.

Oh indeed, she is against the plan because the polls told her to be, but only after she was for it. Leaders need conviction and the ability to make tough choices, that is what makes Senators such weak candidates for President. They have long histories of changing stances and voting records that cannot be hidden by their double-speak.
