It's not even that pretty Creed. My anthropology professor in college was a Native American Studies expert and as a result he spent a lot of time in Peru, Ecuador, and the lot. What he observed on this exact subject was that wild dogs will not get close enough to eat whats left over from a hunt, furthermore primitive cultures use everything. Wild dogs will eat human poo and that' what first gave the dogs incentive to create a relationship.
Now cats, if they were large enough they would kill us all for sure, they cannot be trusted
