I havn't met anyone other than 30 year olds who live in their parents basements (pardon the cliche) who believes this, so why do why all seem to care?

Wow, this old debate.

I believe in evolution, and that God created the Earth.

If you were asking the more specific question: How did we get here; Big Bang or Creation? Both really start out as nothing, or something that has had no beginning that eventually formed the Earth. And I put my beliefs in God.
