Default Economy vs Employment?

With all this crisis in the US economy what are the chances of a big economic crisis like we've heard in some other countries?

Will US lose, with time, its power and strong leadership wolrdwide?

If all this happen, how can affect the employment issue?

Americans will loose what they loose because they are still not accepting the realities of global economic competition. If Americans think that prosperity is a right, they will be very dissapointed by the fact that less and less of it will be delivered to their towns and cities every year as the global economic playing field is made level by technology and natural inevitable change. Americans need to forget about the government providing prosperity. A College Education is manditory to rise above the poverty class, minimum. Saving cash instead of getting frivelous uneeded shit that television tells us we need will also help, and fewer cell phones and expensive cars for the entitled brats, make em' work for it.. We need to use mass transit instead of buying cars if possible. We need to Europeanize.

So if we work harder, and economize smartly, we won't suffer much. And forget about leaders doing it for you with oil wars.

People that believe Bush is a great President have been deserted by Republicans whom have sought to distance themselves from Bush's failures by categorizing themselves as Social Conservatives (Religious Right), Fiscal Conservatives (Small government spending proponents), Libertarians (Less government), and leftover whom nobody claims.....Neoconservatives (Any Republicans we hate, Bush/Wolfowitz/Cheney/Rove)

In answer to your question....the feeling of entitlement to prosperity Americans have crosses party barriers and it's beginnings go all the way back to the 1950's and the emerging Cold War. It is reinforced by politicians and the media daily.

The American people will ignore this problem untill it comes up and bites them in the ass, thats our way.

You know of such? Last I heard W got in because both of his major party opponents publicly made possibly insane claims: "I invented the internet." and Kerry claiming, in writing, that he was in two places at once during nam. Given the choice between a manageable idiot and a possibly raving lunatic the American voter twice chose the idiot.

Manageable.....? maybe not so much of a listener, more of an unmanageable decider of really stupid things to do.

He chose the wrong foreign policy boss in Cheney. Domestically he did a much better job of picking people. Except for Katrina that record can be defended.

I won't disagree. What I truly wonder about was did Bush listen to his cabinet with a logical though process engaged, or did he just try on what they said to see if it matched his cowboy boots? Then do the "decider" thing
