That is the truth... all kinds of systems were your value is determined by other people are crazy. Capitalism is not individualism, but submission of your individuality to your boss and all the fuckers at the bureaucracy.

The bureaucracy can be removed to a degree by changing the systems on a minor scale. Another way is to do that AND to work for yourself so that at the very least you don't have to work at 711 or make the fries.

But I have to state; someone has to make the fries and someone has to work the counter at 711 and I don't think that has much to do with an oppressive capitalist system that removes your individualism.

The way I looked at it long ago was that I am my own boss, no matter who I am working for and I can make choices in my life that will best suit me, while still surviving. In that if I end up at a 711 it is because of my own fault and not that of my system holding me down.

There are far too many people who are working for themselves and doing well for the system to just blanket the public with oppression, because that blanket missed some of us, like me.

I hate to say it but the best thing to do to keep control of your well being without submitting to the less individualism you'd get at say 711, is to offer a product, solution, or service. Yes this is servitude to a degree, but it also justifies the means, which is eating food and shelter from the rain. And on a personal level, feeds my kids, gases my car, pays the bills, and keeps us warm and healthy.

A lesson learned in life, known from the dawn of time. Respect. Walk.

Vanguard Who is this person?
Default Re: Employment is servitude

Christiania is an area in the Danish capital Copenhagen, where drugs and the use of drugs is not legal, but where the authorities do not bother to try to stop the use of drugs. Although some junkies claim that only hasch is used there, it is widely known that even more dangerous drugs are being sold and used there, also by minors. To put it simply, Christiania is a free zone for drugs.

Perhaps that explains a few things about Avanti?

I know I've posted this a lot, but I love this clip. The music video portion is really compelling. It's worth watching the whole documentary, too. It really questions the benefits of capitalism in a clever way.

Yes very thought provoking piece of video , well choreographed and themed . Play well to the low waged but unfortunately might make the captains of industry shift uncomfortably in their seats , but thats about all - shades of michael moore - he put flint back on the map after the auto industry wiped it out .

You are actually correct when you say that people are brainwashed by the current perception of reality. But you misunderstand the reason. You think that everything would be well with anarchy. But the state is a founding block for civilization. It was no coincidence that cities such as Uruk or Babylon evolved. No, mass media and the establishment indoctrinate people from birth, and that must be stopped. The sovereign national state must be reformed. Ethnic diversity should be secured by borders.

I was listening and considering but of course stopped when you threw in the last two sentences.

But rhubarb, the last two sentences is a summarization of the beliefs that Vanguard - and to a certain extent - and I cherish. Do not mix up the United states with the old nations of Europe. Diversity is a a two bladed sword that you Americans and the propaganda bemuddled Europeans attempt to call one bladed. You should try to focus more on what is said, rather than on your already existing perception of reality.

Times succeed one another
