PH's Baseball Roster
Let's see how some of us percieve our forum peers. Think about the other PH members, and Assign them a position on Our team. Name the member and their position, followed by what character traits that member has that fits that position. Bench player is absolutely an option.
Build a team, or just name a player that stands out. This may be a stretch, but whatever... I'll start, by just adding a player to see who's playing...
John Flesh: Middle-Relief Pitcher
He's too laid back to start. He's crafty and always has good stuff. Don't be fooled, his fastball will catch you off guard. His delivery is smooth, and always follows through.
Excellent moral in the clubhouse..
omg i can't believe i posted this..

And there comes a time when one must take a position that is neither safe, nor politic, nor popular, but one must take it because one's conscience tells one that it is right." - Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Re: PH's Baseball Roster
FFA for Catcher. A Catcher's gotta be tough, FFA's ex military and he could probably juggle an incoming throw from right field with his right eye, and that full on sprinting 220 pound slugger bearing down on the left and going for some record.....then be the one standing after the dust settles. Don't drop it FFA!

JustOneMan - Shortstop. JOM's cleancut image is the values-based face of the franchise. He's always ready to speak out in support of his team and to argue against those who criticise his teams players, fans, ownership, uniforms, stadium, mascots, or management. He voices vocal disappointment in the moral decline in sports, quoting statistics on steroid use and encourages kids to stay in school.

and after digging one out of the dirt I make a perfect pirouette for the throw to first. See I am left handed, not so good for short.
I say Vortex for center field. She is fast, very fast. You get your comment out and blam! She has a response back in lighting speed. And "vortex" would be her handle on the field too. Always spinning under the ball as it comes down. Lots of bruises to the head too because she never takes her eye of the ball and often hits the fence hard.

Someone's gotta keep us out of trouble, we wouldn't want to have a drugs and steroids test come down on us, I might pass, but after some of the stuff I've heard that might be disasterous, I don't know!

Re: PH's Baseball Roster
Inkslinger for pinch runner. No ability to get a hit himself. Only able to add something to what someone else has already done. Even then his chance of scoring is pretty slim. All it takes is one little head fake from the pitcher and he scurries back to safety. He sees all of the signals from the coach and catcher from the opposing team and figures it is a conspiracy by "big baseball" to blow up the stadium.

Re: PH's Baseball Roster
I can see this team is headed for disaster. I wouldn't mind winning once in awhile.

Steezer i am seeing you as the manager. You are very quick to anger. You will at the drop of a hat fly off the handle at the Ump. Kicking dirt and throwing your had on the ground and screaming at the top of your lungs inches away from the officials face, only to see minutes later on film you were wrong and then needing to apologize.
