The Myanmar people have it bad, not just having to endure the uncompromising military system on their civilian lifestyles but also having to deal with disasters along with the Chinese politics on its' borders.

I've donated some stuff to some charity, even if it's your second hand items, I'd recommend aid to them.

No. Most major aid charities prefer cash because it takes time and effort to sort out donated stuff. It's easier to use the money to buy a truckload of water or food or tents.

I may do some volunteering for their funding initiatives on the morrow. Most likely for a day to so, I think it's worth it. Burma certainly needs the Asean to step on it this time....
