Default An Awsome Education Plan For The Usa

I was looking at Ron Paul's plan for schools and it is that every student will get a $5000 voucher and federal schooling will end.

I thought about that plan and I think I thought of one better, but that is for everyone to decide.

My plan would end federal schooling and give every student a voucher between 7,000-13,000 because my elitist private schooling costs almost $15000 where many people can claim financial aid. I am unsure about the exact money per student but I don't know the economics of schools.

The catch of my system would be that it would be illegal for a kindergarden through high school to make its students pay any tuition (or maybe any fees). That system would be in place to allow the brightest students and not the students that can afford a tuition cost to gain access to the best schools, which would increase school efficency and competitiveness. It is just important to remember that this is only with primary shooling and not the purchasing of knowedge in general.

Even if all of the schools would be free schools, all high schools would still be able to choose who they can accept. I may change the system to allow some schools to recieve some extra funding so they can't deny people entry to a school, but I am unsure. I am just trying to avoid a separation of schools into good and bad schools to satisfy by liberal urge.

I don't understand the purpose of having selective schools below high school.

Schools would also recieve a portion of its money from federal government grants based on the test scores, art program, and many other cirteria vs the amount of money the school currently recieves through those grants. Therefore the schools that are the most efficent with their money would more easily gain more money. I would avoid allowing certain very good schools to get grants if the money would not increase their student's ability as much as if a worse school obtained those grants.

After a few years if a grant does not increase performance in a certain area then they would cut. Despite other factors in a school's performance that would need to be followed.

My plan would involve students moving to the best schools based solely on the supply and demand of students going who want to go to better schools, and during high school the better students would apply to the better schools that have prooven their efficency and ability to gain grants.

States could also supply grants or just extra money for its schools.

I was thinking about including a grant for areas with high unemployment but I am unsure.

Any "constructive" arguements would be apreciated.
