I'm game - will discuss it later today or tomorrow. BTW if you had done ANY real research into the topic you will find that the scientists are concerned that there may be a link - after all we are about to losing a LOT of weight from either ends of the earth as the ice melts.

(((((((((((((((sigh))))))))))))))))))))
There is a big wide world out there that does NOT have Al Gore in it. In this wide world we are experiencing the outcomes of global climate change (Australia, despite one year of reasonable rain is still experiencing the worst drought in 1,000 years, monsoons have failed, insect hatching and spread patterns have changed - all these things HAVE HAPPENED) In fact it has T HE REST OF THE WORLD (you know the bit that does not have Al Gore in it - the bit that does not really CARE about Al Gore) so worried that they have held conferences where over 187 countries were represented and agreed to tackle the problem.

I feel your pain. This wouldn't even be an issue for half the righties here if Gore hadn't made a movie about it.

I think he means the Andy Richter Scale. But I still don't get it. Maybe he means you're funny? Or not funny? I dunno...

WARMING of the climate is causing a "significant increase" in the accumulation of ice in East Antarctica, rather than a depletion as widely predicted, American and Japanese scientists have found.

ScienceDaily (Jul. 23, 2007) — Climate change is nothing new. For thousands, perhaps millions of years, Antarctica's massive ice sheet - 5.5 million square miles - has advanced and retreated as the earth's atmosphere cooled and warmed. Yet, until recently, there was no precise way to measure the shifting interface between ice and open water.

The "richter scale" goes up to ten. Perhaps you just proved his point.
