A few years ago I was banned from a forum on Satanism for being too insensitive and self-absorbed. I was banned from a religion website for arguing that the war in Iraq isn't necessarily evil and that if we are going to debate the issue, we need to do more than issue quips about how much we hate President Bush. So I agree with you 100%. This site is 100% better than the average agenda-driven forum.

A bit of understatement. Some forums have negative value and not just the statist forums many an-cap libertarian forums have magic wand lunatics that believe no transition policies will be needed to get to freedom.

I've seen those. I think we have a great group of people here. It's also important to remember that when new users show up here, they are used to business as usual, so they come defensive, and ready to fight. It usually takes people a few months before they settle down and realize that most of the people here are fair and able minded individuals who come here to discuss issues.
