Guus Hiddink is a quality manager - I actually think a Germany-Russia final could be a great game if the Russians can carry on playing like that. But then, Spain were the only group winner to qualify for the semis - and after the tournament so far I wouldn't be surprised to see Turkey in the finals.

No offence to any Greeks about, but this has been far, far better than Euro 2004.

Well, as usual the final was a big disappointment, but overall this has probably been the best international tournament for a while. Spain probably deserved the win - they played relatively consistently throughout the tournament, even if Torres didn't particularly impress. Also, the Germans win things all the time, while I think this is the first time Spain has won a major tournament since 1964.
