Five sets of everything (but only 2 kayaks). Then we drive for 5 hours to a lake in Western Maryland for a week or so. It's a blast.
Hell, that sounds like a vacation to me. I recently got rid of all my tanning oil and picked up some camping gear. I'd love to get a couple of kayaks, but damn, it seems like every little toy I buy goes for at least a g note.

That's real conversation for your ass.

I got the kayaks last summer for my sons birthdays. They are sit on top style, I think they are made by Pelican and the model name is Busrt. They were only about $230 each (on sale, and I got a discount for buying two). We live walking distance to the West River off the Chesapeake and our pier is in a sheltered cove so it was a no brainer. Got 'em for my boys when they turned 8 and 10 last summer, they are strong swimmers and wear life jackets so we don't worry about them going on adventures. Just told them to stay outa shipping and boating lanes, and especially stear clear if they see a boat that says Pragmatist on the stern.

AMERICAN AND PROUD

Only if you know you can hold the lead. I've beaten a number of younger and stronger riders by sucking wheel for 99 miles and then jump on it for the last mile. I never lead so I don't eat beans.

I only take Euros!
