But if He is as the Bible says...would that not be rejecting him?

Yes. But I do not believe in the divinity of Christ. Man enduring his sacrifice is one thing, but as God..? Where's the sacrifice?

God sacrificed Himself at Calvary (Golgotha/The place of the skull) on the cross. Without the shedding of His innocent blood there is no remission for our sins. Furthermore, the resurrection is the infallible proof that the sin of His creation are forgiven to those who are "in" Christ Jesus.

But there's no infallible proof of the anastasis, how interesting.

People who have never been exposed to Christianity, such as secluded tribes, have probably never opened a science textbook either. Do you think that a member of a Amazonian tribe would admire the surrounding Amazon as just a part of natural selection? Or would that tribal member consider the environment so complex that a supernatural force must have been behind it? The tribal member is likely to believe the latter, even though he has no Bible or science textbook at his fingertips. Why is that? Why is it that a man who is not grounded in knowledge or spiritual instruction turns to a being such as God for answers? Well, let's look at the scripture again.

Romans 1:20 "For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse."

Amazonian tribes in their secluded state are not exposed to Sunday school or a high school Biology class. There is no reason that man can provide as to why a person, who is ignorant to religion and science, turns to God for answers rather than himself. Is this to say that all tribal members look to God? Certainly not, as Romans chapter one speaks of the sins that they commit despite their knowledge of God. Romans chapter one also demonstrates the natives' mistake to worship pagan gods rather than the Judeo-Christian God. Here's the following scripture of Romans 1:20.

Romans 1:21-25 Because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened.

Professing to be wise, they became fools.

And changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man--and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.

Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves,

Who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator who is blessed forever. Amen."

So the many pagan religions throughout time are explained by this scripture, as a corrupted spin-off of the true God.

So why would those who know nothing of organized religion, let alone Christianity, or Darwinian evolution, turn to a supernatural being for answers rather than using their mind to find their own explanation?

The message of the Bible is clear in this regard,

Romans 1:19 Because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them.

The knowledge of God is manifested in us, and that it why some are ignorant of science, but none are ignorant of God.

That is why those who do not know of Christianity know of God, and because there is no justification for denying Him, (such as scientific theory) they accept Him or more times than not, change His image into that of a pagan nature.

This is also why you have people in our own society that doubt God despite their exposure to Christianity, for they have the "justification" through science to not believe in God. These tribes do not know of Darwinian theory, so instead of being atheists they change God into an image suitable to them.

I hope this explained some things, but it is by no means an easy question to address.

Foxtuba, as an aside, nature worship is only suitable for people who have never observed the unchecked growth of a tumor, nor seen something cute and fuzzy die from parasites.

Nature is vulgar, cruel and detestable.

Please point me to the passage in the Koran that specifies virgins or the number of them. I would love to see it.

Ah, I can't do that to you. That would be mean.

The Koran never says either thing. Sorry Coolio.
