Yes, and thanks to government schools we now have a lot of stupid, illiterate people swallowing the bilge being pumped out by the likes of Gore. The man-made Global warming myth is nothing more than a leftist re-distribution of wealth scheme on a global scale.

Tell me GW fanatics...what is the perfect temperature for earth?

Hmmm...

Finland has the best education in the world...
BBC NEWS | Education | Finland tops global school table

Finland is one the most active supporters of AGW mitigation policy....
www.environment.fi - Climate change mitigation in Finland

So maybe our education system is in fact having the OPPOSITE effect, where uneducated people blindly absorb the rantings of the few remaining skeptics?

We'll point out how ridiculous they are, but this will only strengthen their resolve. The Religion of Doom and Gloom will grow, because as a people become less and less creative, less and less capable, they will fear nature all the more. Their fear will drive them to unspeakable acts of government and, in our frustration, our only recourse will be to laugh at them, as they'll have the guns of government and we'll be left with those pesky and irrelevant facts and logic.
So it is fear mongering.

I have heard some Democratic politicians as of late talking about drilling for oil and why it is a bad idea. One let the cat out of the bag. He said something to the affect that he did not want prices to come down because here is our chance to instill alternative energy programs. The Democrats actually want high prices at the pump! This is why they will vote against drilling for oil in Alaska even though the majority of Alaskans want it. This is why they will continue to vote against allowing a new refinery to be built.

So what can we do if there is no Artic Sea ice? No scientist has done a simple experiment to see what effect CO2 has on retaining heat in a box and relating that data to the Earth right now, so we still don't know what is warming the Earth.

However, as I have talked about before, if the Earth did warm then it would be very harmful.

I am going to look for that thread right now where i talk about now a warmer Earth is bad. (just because you don't believe in global warming that doesn't mean that you should immedietly be against anything that would help the global warming case, that is being blind and believing something that is untrue just for your political agenda.)

Politics is the art of looking for trouble, finding it whether it exists or not, diagnosing it incorrectly, and applying the wrong remedy.

I am sure you know this and you were just making a randome comment, but science is about long term alterations in the enviornment and looking for the cause. Regardless if one day or one year, was warmed or colder you need to look at a graph of a long period of time, and the Earth is warming.

Some people actualy use evidence like this as real proof for or against global warming, when both sides need to understand that such a short observation like, "the sea level rose one day, that earth is warming" or "this one day was the coldest in 5 years, the Earth is not warming" means completely nothing at all.

But do we know that it is that due to CO2? No
