Just the other day, the call screener, a black man on the Rush show did a message to the hood about the criticism of McCain's military record. Very funny. I wish Rush did more comedy like the days when I started listening.

I think he's very much like Stewart or Colbert when he's on. But over the past few years, too much pontificating, not enough laughs....

The idea that more people are going to listen to Rush means America is getting dumber...but over time they will find out he is just a shrill. When called on points he says "I'm just for entertainment"

Rush was a liberal, until a note showed up on his desk saying if you want to be big pretend to be a conservative.

I got that directly from a person who worked with him years ago...when he was a liberal. Today he supports NEO CONS (who are Liberals) so he still is what he always was...but he has a gig that brings in the bucks....he won't give it up. The last timeI saw Rush in person I slapped him over and over till he cried like a twelve year old girl. Then I took that cigar and made him eat it, and later when he shit out the cigar I made him eat the shit that was once his cigar. He really didn't enjoy his stay at my place that day, but I wanted it to be unpleasant because of all the impressionable minds who believe him.

Between he and Karl Rove they have taken perfectly good Republicans and created a gulf between them and reality, which is somewhere between Left wing radicals and Conservative hater wackos, and he has stranded them off the radar in hateville where he can make money off of them, and all the while the poor unsuspecting Conservatives are under the impression thier thinking needs have been taken care of properly.
