right now i'm on weekend break.
but during the week, i'm in this program, sar el, where you go and work on an israeli army base doing work that they give you.
Basically, its turned me off from contemplating anything in the military, because in the military if you sign up, you 'become their property'. That doesn't sit well with me. I guess too much libertarianism in me, although I'm not a libertarian.
Essentially, theres a whole lotta lifting, a whole lotta shit work ( I had to pull weeds away from a tank), but mostly a whole lotta good times and really good stories. There was a guy who was in an israeli combat unit who talked to us; he was in yamas (jews who dress as arabs) and went undercover in gaza strip.
I love it when they tell me the work that I just did for the past two hours is maintenance work, because every four years the work needs to be done (stuffing kit bags).
